Ethics Education at Providence Health Care (PHC) and Providence Living (PL)
The Ethics Services team provides informal and formal educational programs for all teams and programs at PHC and PL.
Education sessions and teaching opportunities are offered in various formats to meet teams' needs. For example, we participate in events such as unit-based rounds, physician grand rounds, quality reviews, and debriefings. We also lead small-group seminars, support student practicums, and assist teams prepare for accreditation.
The Ethics Services team also offered regular education events including "Ethics for Lunch", workshops, and the annual Ethics Conference.

Policy Development
The Ethics Services team supports policy development across PHC and PL.
We offer advisory services to clinical and administrative teams and support policy development with assessments and reviews, ethical analysis, and implementation for any policies where ethical issues arise.
